Our story started in January 2016 during a winter term class. Michaela thought John was cute and decided to try and get to know him better. John, was, in hindsight, absolutely oblivious to all this. First she tried joining him on a walk during a class break, they talked for maybe a minute and then John puts on his headphones and says "well see you in class" and picks up the pace and leaves Michaela in the dust. Later, Michaela being incredibly studious asks him to a study date. They study for a test for an hour, a minimum study amount time in Michaela's book, before John states, "well I feel good about this" and leaves. Eventually John gets the hint and they agree to hangout, only for Michaela to then cancel three times in a row. Whoops. Finally, they go on a lovely date to the Walters Museum and bond over art and discuss psychology over milkshakes at the PaperMoon Diner. We got it together in the end. Now it's nine years and counting.
